Terms of Service
1. Who we are
GuestList Events ("GLE", "we", "us") operates this platform for advertising events and selling tickets. GuestList Events is a subsidiary of Citadel Consortium. By using the platform you agree to these terms.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your password secure. You must provide accurate information. We may suspend or remove accounts that breach these terms, and a removed account's email address may be blocked from registering again.
3. Your role as an organiser
If you publish an event you are the seller of those tickets. You are responsible for the accuracy of the listing, for holding the event as described, for having the right to run it, and for complying with all laws, licensing and venue requirements that apply to it. GLE facilitates the sale; GLE is not the organiser.
4. Fees and payouts
GLE charges a 5% platform fee on each sale. The buyer pays the listed ticket price; the fee is deducted from the seller's share. Payment processors may charge their own fees.
- Card sales settle automatically to the seller's connected payment account at the time of the sale, minus the platform fee.
- Cryptocurrency sales cannot be split automatically. The full amount is received by GLE and the seller's share is paid out manually to the payout details held on the seller's account, normally within 5 working days of the sale.
The same 5-working-day window applies to any other payout GLE settles by hand. Sellers are responsible for keeping their payout details accurate; incorrect or incomplete details are the most common cause of delay, and payouts may also be held where a sale is disputed, suspected to be fraudulent, or under review.
5. Your role as a buyer
Tickets are issued to your account and are valid for the event stated on them. A ticket may be scanned once; attempting to reuse, duplicate or forge a ticket voids it. Entry remains subject to the organiser's and the venue's conditions, including any age restrictions.
6. Cancellations, changes and refunds
Organisers may cancel or change an event. Refund handling is described in our Refund Policy. Where an event is cancelled, affected tickets are marked cancelled and are no longer valid for entry.
7. Prohibited use
- Listing events you have no right to run, or that are unlawful.
- Fraudulent payments, chargeback abuse, or laundering funds.
- Forging, duplicating or reselling tickets outside the platform.
- Attempting to access accounts, staff tooling or data that is not yours.
- Harassment, spam or abuse in chat or support.
8. Availability
We work to keep the platform available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change or withdraw features.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, GLE is not liable for the conduct of organisers or attendees, for events being cancelled, changed or not meeting expectations, or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. Continuing to use the platform after a change means you accept the updated terms.
